Her maternal grandmother was Ann Gaucheron (1752-1798). Ann's father (b~1703) and grandfather (1681-1775) were both named Louis Gaucheron and Louis senior was born at Bazoches-en-Dunois in France, which is north west of Orleans. The Gaucherons have been traced back to Thomas Gaucheron (1565-1630).

On the 17th of October 2009, a meeting of Gaucheron descendents from around the world took place a Bipshopsgate, London including many Furbys. The gathering included a tour around nearby Spitalfields to view various sites connected to Gaucherons, Huguenots and the weaving business.
