They had a son, also named George Frederick, who was born on the 21st of April, 1849 and died on 13th of August, 1930 at Dandenong, Victoria. The son was married on the 25th of December 1872( at 23 years of age) to Mary Jane Yeates (born the 18th of February 1857 (at less than 15 years of age) at Adelaide, South Australia. The marriage was not a happy one and after the birth of the first daughter - Gertrude Emily Furby in 1877, there was a 15 year break before my grandmother Rita Beatrice Victoria Furby was born on the 7th of August, 1892, at Geelong, Victoria. She married Joel Levi Cohen.
