23rd January 2005I am the son of Sarah (Sadie) Randall Furby. My great grandfather James Joseph Furby moved from London to Liverpool (England) in 1865/1866. We have traced our Furbys back to John (William) Furby (born 1787) and his wife Sarah (born 1794) who lived in the London / Middlesex area of England. As yet, we have no information allowing us to trace further back, though a recently found 1811 record for a marriage at Lambeth, London may be that for John (William) and Sarah.
